I see a young woman looking up at the sky longing to fly but upon her shoulders are heavy burdens and around her ankles are thick chains locking her to the earth. She’s tried many times to shove off the burdens on her shoulders but each time she is successful with one off another replaces it. She’s discouraged wonders if the dream of flight is really for her.
I feel like God is saying to focus all your efforts on the chains around your ankles. You already have the key to unclasp the locks that are holding you in place. It will be an emotional battle as I believe what locked you is deeply buried in your past and you’ll have to face it in the unlocking process. Take courage because you already have the key, you can face the past and be free. Once the chains are off you’ll shoot into the air as you were made to fly. The burdens on your shoulders will fall off on their own accord.
If you are hesitant to deal with the past another motivating factor is that the ground you are standing on has become dank and unwholesome. It is time you were freed to do what you were created to do before the damp settles on you.
