I saw a young woman walk out of the quagmire (A soft boggy area of land that gives way underfoot). In these conditions she grew up. This woman is covered in slime, washes herself clean in the blood of Jesus. She begins a new phase of life with a new holy, healthy outlook.
Unfortunately, a demon from her past is pelting her with slime balls. This wasn’t like a child lobbing mud balls at another child. What was thrown at this person was similar to the speed and violence of a person standing in a batting cage. The impacts are incredibly damaging. She is so new to this new walk that she hasn’t learned the skill of defending herself. Every slime ball hits it’s target with perfect accuracy.
God sees her struggle and has prepared a rain cloud just for her. It showers her constantly with truth and purity. She can walk confidently with dignity and learn about who she is in Christ. She will learn to equip herself for spiritual warfare to deal with the demons of her past but until then the rain cloud will follow her. She need not be ashamed any longer. The slime balls cannot penetrate the purity of the rain
