Seek the Lord while he may be found: Call upon him while he is near

Isaiah 55:6

Muddy Pit

I saw a woman fall into a money pit. She thought it wasn’t a big deal, being very tired took a nap. When she woke up and tried to get out she found she was stuck. The more she struggled the more she sunk deeper into mucky pit. She’s covered in mud, trapped. People that walk by the pit look down and see this woman in the mud and do not pity her. They imagine because she’s so covered in the mud she prefers it to being clean. But that isn’t true, she wants to get out but she can’t do it on her own. She needs help.

When you see this person in a pit. Have compassion and lend a hand. Your hand might get muddy be that soon addressed. It is such a small price to rescue a person.

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy...
